The Rooms

Every bedroom in the lodge has its own private bathroom. Below is exactly what is in each one — the bed configuration, which floor it is on, and how many it sleeps — so you can work out who goes where before you arrive.

We say it that way on purpose. Thirty-one of the 33 sleep in real bedrooms; the last two are on a pull-out in the curtained massage and sitting area on the third floor. Worth knowing before you book for a full house.

Jaguar Room

Queen bed, bunk bed (full below, twin above), and a futon.

Tucked under the deck with its own entrance from outside — effectively a small apartment. Sleeps six, and comes and goes without walking through the rest of the house.

Flower Room at The Majestic Lodge

Flower Room

Third floor · sleeps 4

Queen bed plus a queen Murphy bed.

Toward the back of the top floor. The Murphy bed folds away, so it is a roomy double by day and sleeps four by night.

Monkey Room at The Majestic Lodge

Monkey Room

First floor · sleeps 2 · private entrance

Queen bed.

On the first floor but entered only from outside, so it has the privacy of a separate casita while still being steps from the kitchen and deck. That outside-only access is why it is priced below the other queen rooms — some guests prefer it, and we pass on the difference.

The massage room and sitting area

Massage room and sitting area

Third floor · sleeps 2 · half bath

Pull-out couch (converts to a full bed).

A curtained corner of the top floor with a half bath, where we set up the massage tables. It doubles as a games area, and the couch converts to a full bed — the two guests that take the lodge from 31 to 33.

Renting a single room

Groups take the whole lodge, and that is how it is usually booked. When the property isn't reserved by a group, we open the individual rooms as a bed & breakfast — each one with its own bathroom, and breakfast in the morning either way. Rooms run from $88 to $195 a night, and open only within 60 days of arrival if no group has taken the property.
